My eye is continuing to improve. I have finally been able to shed the patch although bright lights and sunshine are still really bothering me so if I go outside I am stuck wearing those giant sunglass shield things which makes me look ridiculous but what can you do. My vision is still fluctuating but yay! I can see pretty good. It's a weird and an amazing feeling. The recovery from the surgery has been more difficult than I expected but I can't wait now to have the other eye done next month.

Speaking of sunshine it appears that spring might finally be here. Although I am not too confident that another snowfall isn't on the horizon. But after several weeks of blizzards and gray skies, the sun has decided to revisit my foresaken city. It's been averaging about 16 degrees celcius which might not sound very warm but considering it was -30 about 2 weeks ago it feels like a tropical paradise. I thought to get out to the Inglewood bird sanctuary today, something that was planned several weeks ago but had to be cancelled because of the weather. That is a no go because apparently they are closed today for the Good Friday holiday, something I find a little bizarre. I may go get out to Starbucks but I don't know. I am having a pretty unmotivated week.
