The condo association has waived me needing to meet with them based on references from the rental company I am currently with. So the offer was put in today. Made me a little queazy to think of how much money it will be but that's okay. You can't take it with you when you die so I might as well spend it now to give myself the security renting does not have. Hopefully they accept it.
John yes the cats will enjoy the sun room :) there is even a small cement patio off the living room which isn't on the floor plans. Since this unit is on the ground floor I will have that.
Bee bee, yes to painting it my own colours :) I am already thinking what I want to do with the place, which is quite dull now in terms of paint. I think it will be a good place to live and yes friendly, quiet neighbours. Hopefully.
Seth, yes in Garrison Woods.
Nathan, thanks!

Wow, you wasted no time! I hope this works out; it sounds good. Although it's a big investment, don't think of of as irrevocable (assuming the sale goes through); it can always be resold later on. The little patio ought to add a lot to the place.
ReplyDeleteI missed al this somehow! How great! And as far as the money. You will feel better about the amount if you total up how much you would have spent in RENT over the next 10 years, and having nothing to show for it.
ReplyDeleteAmanda:
ReplyDeleteHoping the offer is accepted and that you are moving soon. I am glad that you are financially in the position to purchase and get what you need and hopefully will decide that you want too.
The sun room and patio sound nice and Mr. Chia head will have a nice little garden area.
I am excited for you Amanda.
Hugs,
B~
